Wednesday , November . 6. Top honors at the 2013 CMA Awards was
taken home by the country music’s couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton . Blake
Shelton and Miranda Lambert set a record after their two years of marriage to
be the first married couple who win the
Female and Male Vocalist of the Year Awards four years in a row.
The 29 years old belle Miranda Lambert said on stage that
she did not expect to win this year also and she is very happy and then she
thanked her husband and said to him that she loves him.
While her husband 37 years old Blake Shelton replied that he
also did not expect that and he gave a
special thanks to his publicist.
As usual for the sixth consecutive year , The 47th
annual Country Music Association Awards at The Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. was co-hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie
Underwood. The veteran couple presented a funny parody show of Robin Thicke and
Miley Cyrus for the song Blurred Lines, so the couple Paisley and Underwood
kept their act with the help of A&E’s Duck Dynasty’s cast to perform a
funny spot of Blurred Lines.
The CMA Pinnacle Award was presented for Taylor Swift as a
honor for achieving worldwide success that’s unique to music of country. So the
23 years old singer was wearing a stunning red Elie Saab gown to say then on
stage that her award from CMA not only for her but also for her family and
label who support her and also for any one of her fans who fill the stadiums,
then she thanked CMA and fans.
