Braking Bad, Modern Family win top honors in Emmy Awards 2013



Breaking Bad won the award of outstanding drama series on Sunday in Emmy Awards. There were three nominations with Breaking Bad and although this it won the award before one week to air the series finale.
Vince Gilligan, series creator, said that he did not suspect the series will win the award. The best comedy series four these four years was Modern Family.
The best actor in drama was Jeff Daniels and he won the Emmy award for his role in The Newsroom and Claire Danes took the best actress for her role in Homeland.
In Emmy award ceremony a melancholy note stuck for the stars who died in the last year. The executive producer to Modern Family, Steve Levitan, said that this is the saddest Emmys and they could not feel happy. He said this comment when he was taking his Emmy award.
The great actor Michael Douglas was the best actor and took award for his role in the HBO biopic and this film also took a top trophy as the best movie.
The best supporting actor was Bobby Cannavale for his role in Boardwalk Empire, while the best supporting actress was Anna Gunn for her in Breaking Bad.
Merritt Wever won the best supporting actress in comedy for her role in Nurse Jackie after she took the award she said the best speech in the ceremony.
The best actress in the movies was Laura Linney for her role in The Big C: Hereafter. The winner of the best reality competition program was The Voice.
CBS was airing live the ceremony of Emmy awards. It was great ceremony and it had a lot of work from the cast of Emmy award.
It was special ceremony as all the past ceremonies and nearly most the stars were very happy in it.
