Ex- Titans kicker Rob Bironas killed in a car crash



The 36 years old former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas was killed in a car crash overnight in Nashville , Tenn.
He was involved in a single-car crash in the 800 block of Battery Lane according to Metro Police around 11 p.m. Saturday.
So while he was driving at a high rate of speed he lost the SUV control then the car went off the road hitting some trees before ending up in a drainage culvert, upside down.
Bironas pronounced dead when he was being transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Don Aaron spokesman of Metro Police said that Rob appeared to be headed home on Battery lane from franklin Pike , where it is not too far from the crash occurred .
And there is no evidence
of the alcohol on the scene as Aaron announced.
Rachel Bradshaw is his wife , the daughter of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw , they married in June. He played with the Titans for nine seasons and then they released him in March.
The team has said in a statement expressing their sadness to learnt about Bironas’ death “ he presented a significant impact as a player during his nine years with the team . our prayers and thoughts go to his wife and family through this hard time.”
He was legend and had 1032 points just 28 points behind Al Del Greco the top historical scorer of the Houston Oilers .
And the former Titans kicker was known for his community outreach in the area.  And he denoted in 2008 to organization for supporting children.
And it was posted a statement on his social network account confirming his death .
