Ed Lauter Dies at Age 74



Ed Lauter dies at 74, he was well known and recognizable figure in scores of TV shows and movies for his Veteran character actor’ long, stern bearing and angular face.
As a lot of us know his career which stretched across five decades.
The Lauter’s rep Edward Lozzi declared that the Lauter died Wednesday due to his injury of mesotheliomas, which is a rare type of cancer most commonly caused by asbestos exposure.
Ed Lauter was born in October 30, 1938, he is American comedian actor. He was born in Long Beach, Long Island, New York.
His mother is Sally Lee, who was the dancer and Broadway actress in the 1920s. Lauter studied English literature after graduating from high school, to receive B.A. degree in 1961. Lauter has four children and had been married four times.
Lauter starred in ER and Burt Reynolds in 1974s The Longest Yard, as he played chauffer to the woman Peppy Miller.
He presented a lot of movies and TV Shows that will stay in our hearts forever to remember this big actor who gave a lot for the small screen.
His first film was The Magnificent Seven Ride! 1972. He also starred in the classic Bad Company (1972), The Last American Hero (1973) French Connection II (1975), King Kong (1976), The White Buffalo (1977), Death Wish 3 (1985), Raw Deal (1986 ), Born on the Fourth of July (1989), and the comedy Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987).
Lauter is remembered for playing Captain John Sebastian Cain in the television series The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo - B. J. and the Bear (1979-1981). As a guest actor went through many TV series: Kojak, The Rockford Files, The A-Team, Magnum, PI, Miami Vice, The X-Files, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, and more. He also starred in the series Golden Years (1991).
He leaves behind his wife Mia and his four children, we ask God to bless him and strengthen his family.
