Famed Chicago chef, Charlie Trotter, found dead in home




Chicago chef Charlie trotter was found dead Tuesday in his home at Lincoln Park. He 54 years old and was found in his home unconscious and not breathing to be carried after that to Northwestern Memorial Hospital but it was late and Charlie Trotter was pronounced dead.
Family friend and fire officials said that Trotter was found dead in his home in the 1800 block of North Dayton Street by his son Dylan and then ambulance was called at 10:45.
His wife Rochelle told his friend Carrie Nahabedian that her baby’s gone. Rochelle released statement about Trotter dead on Tuesday saying: his family shocked and deeply saddened by the loss of Charlie, he was loved and words cannot express how much he will be missed.
Steve Kolinski was his neighbor and said that he saw at this n morning policemen and ambulance and Trotter’s wife was yelling hysterically.
So he was pronounced dead at 11:48 a.m. and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
Charlie Trotter was born in September 8, 1959, and after his graduating from New Trier High school Illinois , Trotter started cooking professionally in 1982 in addition he got a degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Charlie Trotter has one child Dylan from his second unsuccessful marriage, and in 2010 he married again from Rochelle who became Trotter’s publicist.
Charlie Trotter opened a lot of restaurants and I like mentioned some of them to you to know to extend America lost professional chef who cannot compensate.
In 1987 Charlie opened his first restaurant in Chicago, to close it again in 2011 announcing that he had a desire to travel pursuing a master degree.
In 2008 Trotter opened his second restaurant in Las Vegas which is known as Restaurant Charlie.
He also managed to open a restaurant in New York City but foreclosure crises prevented him.
