An Advocate for Death with Dignity , Brittany Maynard died



The 29 years old Brittany Maynard had suffered from terminal brain cancer taking medication to end her life under Oregon’s Death with Dignity Act.

She chose to make an informed choice and well thought to Die with Dignity in the face of such a painful, terrible , and incurable illness.
Brittany moved to Oregon to pass away in a little yellow house picking out it in the beautiful city of Portland as her website said.
Compassion & Choices , an advocacy group of end- of- life choice where it has been working closely with Maynard stated that Brittany died as she intended in the arms of her loved ones peacefully in her bedroom.
The group released an official obituary saying that she passed away Saturday.
A final message from her included in the epitaph noting that she tanked to all her supporters whom she sought out like water during her illness and life.
"It is people who pause to appreciate life and give thanks who are happiest. If we change our thoughts, we change our world! Love and peace to you all," it was the last words by Brittany .
She is survived by her family , husband , mother and stepfather.


She graduated from California University , Berkeley, having also a Masters from California University , Irvine.
Brittany had longed for children of her own , and left this world with no regrets on time spent, people she loved in her 29 years , or places been.
Brittany story spread very rapidly on social media and her video earned more than 9 million views on YouTube.
